STEPPING
Sliding: Is usually when both feet are moved at least one stance length and one foot passes the other.
Shifting: Is when both feet are moved at least one half stance length (both feet landing at the same time).
Slipping: Is when one foot is moved, usually from L-stance to walking stance or walking stance to low stance (an outward motion).
Pulling: Is when one foot is moved, usually from walking stance to L-stance or walking stance to rear foot stance (an inward motion). Normally no regain of balance when the primary hand is toward the rear.
